In 2012 the National College for Teaching and Leadership awarded St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School the award of National Support School. Not only this but we are very proud that our headteacher, Miss McFlynn has been a Leader of Education since 2009.
The Primary Science Quality Mark is an award scheme to enable primary schools across the UK to evaluate, strengthen and celebrate their science provision. St Joseph’s have been awarded bronze and we are now aiming for silver.
St John Ambulance Schools mark has been rewarded to St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School on 3rd February 2015. Our school prepares staff and pupils with the skills required to stay safe and healthy and deal with emergencies.
We are very green-fingered at St Joseph’s and thanks to the help of our Environmental Tutor, Ms Ioannou we won 1st place in Islington in Bloom 2014 for “Best Children’s Planting“, Gold Award for London in Bloom 2014 for “London in Bloom, Sow, Grow and Know” category and a Gold medal for London Children’s Flower Association “Cultivation of a School Garden” section.
