We want to remember our pupils when they leave our school. We have gathered together a few stories of former pupils who have gone onto achieve greatness.
Are you an alumnus of St Joseph’s Primary School happy to share with us stories about your life after leaving the school? Please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org – we would love to hear from you.
Dominic de Almeida was a pupil at St Joseph’s School from 2002 and left at the end of year 6 to attend Fortismere school where he is currently studying for his A’ levels. Dominic started fencing when he was just 9 years old and showing great promise, rapidly progressed and started to win his competitions. His first major achievement was becoming the English champion under 15’s and also U17’s. He was also nominated and won the accolade of being the Islington Sportsman of the year for both 2014 and 2015. Dominic continues in his success and has recently achieved a double championship in the National Foil Championships becoming the current British Champion for the under 17’s and under 20’s – when he was just 16 years old. Congratulations to Dominic and we are delighted with his achievements to date.
